The NuytPro derives its name from Dr. Phil Nuytten, the world-renowned deep sea authority who invented the Newtsuit articulated 'metal suit' and the Remora submarine escape system. Dr Nuytten has worked closely with Whites R&D department to bring his experience in the design of a new set of highly technical dry suits. The NuytPro, that derives from this collaboration, is made of a special crushed/compressed neoprene called DensTek. The DensTek has twice the density of a normal neoprene. That means that at 60 feet, a 3 mm DensTex will have the same termal protection of a 7 mm neoprene and at greater depth it will out-perform it. Furthermore it will present minimal bouyancy change. It is made of three layers: an outer laminate of heavy weight nylon stretch jersey with excellent abrasion resistance. A middle layer of crushed neoprene. An inner layer of light weight protective high stretch nylon. Technical details Latex wrists and neck seal with cold water hood dam. Large molded knee pads with integrated Air Control Legs. Sitech inflate and exhaust valves with quick release low pressure inflate hose. Molded inflate and exhaust valve pads. Rugged shoulder entry air tight dry suit zipper with external protective flap. Cold water hood dam. Drysuit boots neoprene insulated with tough vulcanized rubber grip sole covering and fin keeper. SEAM CONSTRUCTION Upper body external nylon seam tape six thread Mauser Lock sewn. Internal seams high pressure heat sealed with polyurethane tape. Lower neoprene body six step glue process, external seams blind stitched.
