Ocean Ways has designed and patented a multi-layer fabric, POLDURA, to manufacture its own drysuits. The suits are completely sealed using the radio-frequency technique. The glues used do not contain toxic solvents. The use of water solvent glues make the multi layer fabric, and hence the drysuits, unique in terms of design technique and hygiene. The fabric supports, bi-elastic nylon integrated with top-quality polyurethane, ensure excellent flexibility and elasticity. This ensures comfort which improves with use. POLDURA is the registered trademark of a polyurethane based group of fabrics specifically designed for use in the manufacturing of underwater garments. The choice of the basic materials is the result of detailed research aimed at supplying the underwater garment market, both amateur and professional, with clothing that can be summarised as follows:
The OCEAN PROJECT Poldura drysuit has no through stitching and is completely radio-frequency sealed. A protective seam is fitted using hot air application. The latex accessories and rubber footwear are applied using special glues free from toxic solvents. The polyurethane valve supports and non-abrasive padding are secured using radio-frequency and/or hot application. The suit is ideal for recreational use, thousands of models having already been sold. The back "shoulder-shoulder" sealed zip is in marine bronze. The removable or incorporated hood (PRO model) in soft double-lined 6 mm neoprene with internal plush is available on request. The automatic low profile adjustable discharge valve has an internal filter. The pushbutton load valve has a jacket type quick-release strap.
