The new PROBE BC combines a familiar and fully adjustable jacket-style design with many of the durable and technical diving features of the CHUTE. The PROBE air cell is manufactured from our patented super-stretch BioFlex material, allowing it to expand for greater lift capacity while staying super streamlined during your dive. The PROBE comes standard with our patented Quick Lock Release (QLR) integrated weight system, can accommodate double tanks and is available in a generous XXL size. Technical details PATENTED QLR QUICK LOCK RELEASE WEIGHT INTEGRATION INCLUDED Oceanic's patented QLR Quick Lock Release System is standard equipment on the new PROBE. Your weights stay in position throughout the dive and do not shift around affecting buoyancy or position in the water. The weight pouches are simple to load and easy to release. Best of all, our patented “positive-lock” system helps to ensure that they’ll stay put. REAR WEIGHT POCKETS Located on the back of the BC on either side of the tank cradle. Provides greater integrated weight capacity and better attitude underwater. Carry up to 5 pounds each. BIOFLEX SUPER-STRETCH AIR CELL Your equipment should enhance, not hinder the joy and exhilaration of diving. Nowhere is this more important than with BC's, where comfort and freedom of movement must be balanced against function and durability. Responding to this challenge led Oceanic design engineers to create BIOFLEX - a unique "living fabric" that stretches, flexes and conforms to the body. BIOFLEX is an extraordinary fabric, which stretches, fully inflated up to 30% over conventional nylon or polyurethane BC materials. The idea being that if a material could stretch while remaining airtight, you could make smaller air cells, creating less bulk and drag underwater while achieving high volumes of lift when required. BIOFLEX eliminates chest squeeze, conforms to the diver's body and provides a slim, body hugging profile. ”FADELESS” 850-DENIER NYLON CONSTRUCTION Exterior abrasion points of the PROBE are covered in our new “Fadeless” 850-Denier Nylon – tough stuff that will keep that “new look” longer. INCREASED LIFT CAPACITY Up to 30% more lift for greater flexibility in any diving condition, positions the diver higher in the water on the surface. OVERSIZED QUICK-RELEASE BUCKLES AND TORSO ADJUSTMENT The PROBE’s extra-strength harness is outfitted with 2” quick release buckles and oversized D-rings for easy adjustment, even with thick gloves. ALLIANCE INFLATOR SYSTEM Ergonomically designed to be functional and easy to use in any dive position, the Alliance Inflator provides a full range of airway exhaust/inflation control. Simply press a button to produce precise flow for trimming dive attitude or maximum flow for major changes in buoyancy. A large exhaust valve creates a flow rate higher than the inflation rate of the power inflator, improving diver control during ascents. FRONT OPERATED RAPID EXHAUST PULL-DUMP Perfect for head-first descents and a must for any drift diving environment. SHOULDER MOUNTED RAPID EXHAUST PULL-DUMP Right or left hand pull dump for easier and faster deflation. ADJUSTABLE DEPTH COMPENSATING CUMMERBUND Oceanic's patented depth compensating cummerbund is manufactured from a unique woven elastic material that eliminates the need to readjust as your suit compresses at depth. The cummerbund is also fully adjustable to fit a wide range of sizes. INTERIOR PLUSH LINING & PADDED BACKPACK Extra heavy duty padding provides comfort both above and below the surface without having to sacrifice the stability of a hard backpack.
