This is the basic model of the new series that comes with the Flight Control System. Although this is the basic version, this jacket is very complete and has a large number of accessories that make its quality/price ratio unbeatable. The bag has a traditional volume and shape and is made from 420 denier nylon. The jacket therefore weighs a lot less than the J113 and J115 models (made from 1000 denier Cordura), a feature that anyone who wants to use the BCs while traveling abroad will certainly appreciate. The cummerbund is easily adjustable and is separate from the bag, thus offering a high degree of comfort, irrespective of how inflated the jacket is. When the volume of air pumped into the bag is high, this folds out without compressing the diver at all. The cummerbund has a waistband above it that, like all the 2003 range, comes with two large plastic D-rings for easy tightening during dives. The 2 main pockets are very large and come with zip closure. Then there are 2 external wraparound weight pockets situated on the outside of the main pockets. They are very handy to hold a reasonable amount of weight (from 1 to 3 kg). These pockets are trapezoidal and have a greater capacity than the previous versions. The opening and closing system now also has a bigger, 40 mm buckle, very easy to open. The weight can be placed and removed in the water, in a very short time, something specifically designed for schools and dive centers.
