Continuing in the tradition of outstanding Cressi-sub regulators, this brand new model is made from the best possible materials and features a range of specially developed technical innovations. The new, larger injector in high-tech polymers delivers the air directly to the mouthpiece, making the renewed Cressi-sub I.B.I. (Internal Balance Injection) system even more efficient. This model also has a practical, easy to use flow control valve which exploits the Venturi effect created by the I.B.I. system to the full. The new profile of the on lever for the nozzle creates a perfect seal with the membrane disk. The significant fulcrum and the almost total absence of friction enable the air to flow freely. The resulting Venturi effect reduces inhalation effort to a minimum even in the most challenging conditions. Like all Cressi regulators, the XS2 also bears the prestigious CE marking, a guarantee of reliability and performance, having passed rigorous UNI EN 250 European. The unbalanced 1st stage is compact and light, producing outstanding performance which matches that of a balanced piston model. The dynamic, cutting-edge design includes two pairs of low pressure ports which come ready-angled to ensure perfect connection with the 2nd stage connectors and instruments, making diving more comfortable. Calibration is quick and easy thanks to Cressi's exclusive rotating ring nut system- the only one of its kind. As a result the device can be adjusted quickly and accurately using a caliper-type key without dismantling the regulator. Inside the regulator there is a powerful conical filter which has a 200% greater filtering capacity than standard flat filters. The device has a significant air capacity (maximum 2.100 liters/minute ) thanks to wider hoses which guarantee both comfort and safety. The rod and DIN type connectors (200 and 300 bar) are fully interchangeable and easy to replace.
