The new VEO 250 is a perfect example of what Oceanic does best; perfectly combining advanced features and user options with intuitive design that even a first time computer user can master in minutes. - Air, Nitrox or Gauge Modes - Audible Alarm with Alarm Acknowledgement - Flashing LED - SmartGlo Backlighting - Water Activation - Automatic Altitude Adjustment - Safety Stop Prompt - Choose From up to 4 Dive Mode Displays - Advanced User Settings & Options Modular "Hockey Puck" Design: Allows easy upgrade from most analog gauge or computer consoles. Color Coded Bar Graphs: Using the recognizable logic of green, yellow and red color-coding in conjunction with bar graphs, the diver has at-a-glance information. As easy to understand as a traffic light, the Graphic Diver Interface helps you to easily monitor No-Decompression status and Ascent Rate. Oversized Digits: Take the Oceanic challenge: When shopping for a new dive computer, compare the displays. When it comes to viewing critical information, which would you rather see at 100 feet? Choice of Dive Mode Display: Upon starting your dive, the VEO 250 will simply display your current depth and how long you can stay there. Just press the button for more information. The display will remain until you choose another. AIR, NITROX AND EXTENDED RANGE GAUGE MODES Divers using advanced breathing gas mixtures or otherwise conducting planned dives beyond the operational limits of the computer may utilize the VEO 250 as an advanced air integrated digital depth gauge and bottom timer with detailed PC Interface. Diver Replaceable Battery with "Hot Swap" Feature: The “hot-swap” feature allows you to change batteries between dives while maintaining all calculations. Depth Dependent Variable Ascent Rate Indicator: The Veo 250’s Variable Ascent Rate Indicator bar graph acts as a speedometer, allowing you to very precisely control your ascent rate via the green, yellow, and red bar graph. The depth-dependant ascent rate allows increased rates at deeper depths and provides additional safety as you near the surface. Automatic Water Activation: Is it a good idea to check your computer before entering the water? You bet. Could you forget to activate your computer? Sure. The Veo 250 features push-button or automatic activation, triggered by water contact. Safety Stop Prompt: A flashing icon reminds you as you approach 15 feet. An automatic 3 minute timer counts down to zero. Time to Fly Countdown Timer and Calculated Desaturation Time: The Veo 250 features both a 24-hour countdown timer and calculated Desaturation Time, the theoretical time required to off-gas all residual nitrogen at sea level. 24 Dive On-Unit Log Book: The Veo 250 features on-unit data storage capacity for 24 dives. Time stamp makes locating and viewing a specific dive quick and easy. Automatic Altitude Compensation All Oceanic computers automatically compensate for altitude up to 14,000 feet, giving adjusted no-decompression times and depths. They even automatically recalibrate the depth display for freshwater instead of seawater.
